I know there are a lot of Frank Lloyd Wright admirers out there. I have to admit that I am often mesmerized by his styles of architecture. I’ve had the chance to visit a few of his works. It’s rare to find one of his homes “for sale”. One of his homes, in Minneapolis, MN, has hit the market…with an asking price of $1,495,000. (Here is the listing on Zillow.) The home has 2,647 square feet, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It was designed by Wright in 1958 and built in 1960 (a year after Wright’s death). If you’d like to see pictures of the home, here is an article and pictures from www.curbed.com. I might have put in an offer, but my furniture would clash with the architecture!!
If you, or someone you know, is interested and can get financing for the Frank Lloyd Wright home in Minneapolis, let me know! I can recommend a good realtor!
Did you know there is a Frank Lloyd Wright home in Grand Rapids, MI? The home was designed by Wright for Meyer S. May, a prominent Grand Rapids clothier, and his wife Sophie Amberg. The home was built in 1908-09. It is located at 450 Madison Avenue, S.E. in Grand Rapids. The Meyer May house was purchased and restored by Steelcase. It was opened to the public for tours in 1987. There is no charge to tour the house and see the film, “The Renewing of a Vision”. If you would like more information on the home, and tour information, here is the link for the Meyer May Home website.
To read more about Frank Lloyd Wright and his architecture, here is the link to the Frank Lloyd Wright page on Wikipedia.org. There is also a website for the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation. The Foundation actually has an online store, where you can buy Frank Lloyd Wright licensed gifts. I think I need a Frank Lloyd Wright doormat!
And here is an Artsy.net Frank Lloyd Wright website.

I would love this house but it’s a little out of my price range.
