Paws To Be Thankful – PLEASE HELP

Here is a chance for you to help support Paws With A Cause! It’s a chance to Paws To Be Thankful…

So, what are you THANKFUL for this year?

At Paws With A Cause®, they are thankful for people who support their mission to enhance the independence and quality of life for people with disabilities through custom-trained Assistance Dogs.

As the season of Thanksgiving approaches, they are putting together a fundraising campaign called “Paws To Be Thankful”. The goal is to raise $32,000 in just 14 days. This money will be used to purchase a new van which will be used to transport dogs to medical exams, training, and community events for socialization!

YOU can help them reach their goal by making a donation of support! Like last year, I have put together a donation page to make this process as easy as possible. I set a goal of $1,000 on my fundraising page and have made the first donation to get things started. Plus, we have a donor who is willing to match donations this year!!!

If you would like to make a donation, click here! Then hit the green “Support Me” button.

Every little bit helps and I greatly appreciate your donations!

Below is a video of a dog in training. She was able to show us some of what she had learned. Her task was to get a client’s medicine out of the refrigerator. Here is a video from that demonstration…

Paws to be Thankful

I’ve always been the kind of person who notices the things other people overlook — strange roadside attractions, forgotten pieces of history, interesting places, odd trends, and the little things in everyday life that make you laugh and say, “Wait... when did that become normal?” This blog is where I share those discoveries. Some days you might learn something fascinating from history. Other days I’ll take you along on a road trip, share a weird story from Michigan’s past, or simply rant about something in modern life that makes absolutely no sense. No matter what, my goal is simple: keep things interesting!
