Michigan International Auto Show

The 19th Annual Michigan International Auto Show is ready for you this weekend! DeVos Place will be the place to see hundreds of new car models, concept cars, pre-production models, muscle cars, the largest Million Dollar Motorway to date, and a collection of vintage vehicles from the Gilmore Car Museum. There is something for all.

This weekend is the greatest opportunity for you to come view, research and sit in your “next new car”. Hundreds of vehicles from more than 35 global manufacturers will be inside the exhibit halls. You can choose from sedans, vans, SUVs, trucks, hybrids, and sports cars. Factory representatives will be on hand to answer your questions.

Returning this year is the Million Dollar Motorway, with nearly 25 cars that have a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price of at least $100,000, all the way up to $416,000.

See the Great American Muscle Cars, including the 2017 Dodge Challenger TA 392, the 2017 Ford Shelby GT350, and the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro 2SS.

You can get behind the wheel of the newest Toyota vehicles — Camry, Prius, RAV4 and Highlander — and take them for a spin around downtown. Drivers must be 18 yeas of age or older and present a valid driver’s license. Vehicles subject to change. Register in Exhibit Hall A.

One can also take a stroll down memory lane with the vintage vehicles on display from the Gilmore Car Museum. Included this year is their first ever entry for the world-renowned 2,400 mile “Great Race” running this June between Jacksonville, FL and Traverse City, MI.

I had a chance to sneak in early on Wednesday while they were putting the finishing touches on everything. Every car was being polished and buffed to make it sparkle for visitors this weekend. Once again, it’s breathtaking to walk into the exhibit hall doors and see the number of new vehicles that are waiting for you.

It all happens in DeVos Place at 303 Monroe Avenue, NE, in downtown Grand Rapids, MI.

Hours:
Thursday, February 2 & Friday, February 3 – 11:00 am-9:30 pm
Saturday, February 4 – 10:00 am-9:30 pm
Sunday, February 5 – 10:00 am-5:00 pm
