CAN WE SHORTEN FEBRUARY?
Welcome to the first day of February!
One thing I’ve noticed over the years is that the word February is tough for people to pronounce…me included.
You hear a lot of people saying Feb-er-ary or Feb-rary. It is acutally Feb-rew-ary, but that is tough to get your mouth and tongue to pronounce. Of all twelve months, February is by far the worst to try to say.
I have a proposal. We have a few one syllable months: March, May, and June. Why not just call this month “Feb”. For example instead of “Today is February 1st” it could just be “Today is Feb 1st”. See how easy that would be!
I know it will never happen, but I’d be OK with it if it did.
JIMMY KIMMEL INTERVIEWS A STONER FROM MICHIGAN
So there was this guy standing outside a marijuana dispensary in Niles, Michigan, waiting for it to open. There happened to be a news crew there that talked to the man.
The guy was pretty funny. Jimmy Kimmel and his crew searched out the man and Jimmy did his own interview…
This man’s parents have to be so proud! Wow!
Now that this has been shown across the nation and streamed online, I just hope people don’t think that everyone in Michigan is like this!
WHAT GOES ON INSIDE A BIRDHOUSE?
I have a few bird houses around my home. I enjoy watching the birds go in and out.
I’ve often wondered if the birds customized the inside of the bird house to their liking!
Well apparently they do…

SUPER BOWL COMMERCIALS
Tomorrow evening is the big game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers.
About 100 million viewers will be tuning in…some to watch the game and some to watch the commercials.
It seems that every year more and more commercials are leaked or released ahead of time. You don’t really have to wait for the game to watch them.

IF I COULD PLAY THE PIANO
When I was just a little kid, my grandmother taught me how to play “Alley Cat” on the piano using just one finger to play the keys.
I can still play those dozen or so notes!
That was the only thing I ever learned on the piano. I always wished I had taken the time to learn how to play. And don’t suggest me learning now, I’ve tried to learn how to read music and it just frustrates me.
There are those that play that truly amaze me.
