If you are traveling the roads of West Michigan this Memorial Day weekend, you may see the Oscar Mayer Weinermobile in the lane next to you! The 27 foot long, 11 foot high hot dog on wheels will be visiting select Meijer stores.
Oscar Mayer is making big changes to their hot dogs. They removed the added nitrates and nitrites (except those naturally occurring in celery juice), said goodbye to by-products, and got rid of all the artificial preservatives in their meat. They are now out spreading the news. The Weinermobile and the “Hotdoggers” (the drivers of the Weinermobile) have set out on a mission across the country. They’re taking the new ‘dogs with them!
